While you are in Finder, choose System Preferences from the Apple menu.

Click on the Network icon in the Internet & Network category.

In this Network window, select Automatic in the "Location" menu. Select Built-in Ethernet in the "Show" menu. Finally, pick Using DHCP in the "TCP/IP-Configure" menu. When finished, your settings should look like below (the numbers will be different).
