Gregory Drive Residence Halls include Forbes, Garner, Hopkins, Barton, and Lundgren. They are located on the west side of campus near the Peabody Drive Residence Halls, and across the street from the Activities and Recreation Center (ARC). Forbes, Garner, and Hopkins Halls, all have a co-ed split living pattern. Across the street, Barton Hall houses women while Lundgren houses men. The tunnel area connecting Forbes, Garner, and Hopkins contains a library, computer center, exercise room, music practice rooms, and lounges.

These residence halls are near Memorial Stadium, where the Fighting Illini football team plays; and Huff Hall, home of the nationally ranked women's volleyball team and the women's basketball team. There are lighted recreational playing fields nearby with tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts. These residence halls also contain computer centers, libraries, a fitness center, a music practice area, classrooms, and meeting spaces. The second floor of Garner Hall is home to the Garner LEADS Living-Learning Community.
