About Sherman Hall ...
Housing graduate and undergraduate students, Sherman Hall is
located on the west side of campus near the College of Law. It
consists of one high-rise building and
one low-rise building joined by a common lobby, with mostly
single rooms and a few doubles. Sherman is within walking distance to most
academic buildings.
Sherman Hall's student room furniture was replaced in summer
2005, and the new furniture features loftable beds and customizable
configurations. The beds are twin extra long size. A
micro-fridge (a small microwave and refrigerator combination) is
provided in all Sherman Hall rooms. Semi-private (shared) bathrooms
are adjacent to each room. Residents share a bath with one or two
other people. Students will also enjoy air-conditioned facilities
and an academically focused community. There are small study rooms
located on the first floor and in the lower level.
