Daniels Residence Hall is located in a prime location on the northeast side of campus at 1010 West Green Street in Urbana near the Illini Union and the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts. In Daniels Hall the rooms are furnished with a computer desk, bed, chair, dresser, and small pedestal for storage of files and/or a printer. Some Daniels rooms have a private bathroom. There are also rooms that have semi-private bathrooms, and a few double rooms.

Daniels Hall has a small study lounge on each floor area. Additionally, there are lounges and conference rooms on the first floor for students to use or reserve. The conference room at Daniels Hall has everything you would need for a presentation, meeting, or just to study. Reserve the space at the hall service desk for a specific time to use the space or just stop by if no one is using it. Good lighting and a nice atmosphere make this a great place to study. Daniels Hall underwent renovations a few years ago in an effort to increase housing options available for both graduate and upper-division undergraduate students (20 years and older). Amenities include:

• New! 12-month housing contracts available in selected rooms at Daniels Hall. Contracts run from mid-August to mid-August.
• Larger single rooms: 172 square feet compared to current 80 square feet
• Private bathrooms and semi-private bathrooms
• Larger double rooms compared to average undergraduate building
• Air conditioning and better ventilation system
• Carpeting in student rooms and some public areas
• Computer network (switched Ethernet) in all student rooms
• Small technology center with multimedia and digital imaging computer hardware
• Prime location
• Mature community
• Optional Board (meal) plans
• Accessible rooms
• Micro-fridge unit in each resident room
• Staffing and programming focused on needs of graduate students and undergraduates over 20 years old
• Meeting rooms and classrooms complete with data projectors, network jacks ideal for group student projects
• Small exercise room
• Two laundry rooms
• Two shared hall community kitchenettes that may be reserved at the hall service desk
