May 1, 2007 Deadline to cancel 2007-2008 contract without forfeiting $100 advance payment (new students only)
  Deadline to cancel 2007-2008 room reassignment contract without $2,000 settlement charge (returning students only)
  Deadline to request preference changes for 2007-2008 (roommate, room type, or area preferences)
May 12, 2007 Halls close at 12 noon unless participating in Commencement
May 13, 2007 Halls close at 7pm for students participating in Commencement
Late May Fall 2007 Hall Assignment notices mailed to freshmen and transfer students
Late July Fall 2007 Room/Roommate Assignments mailed to all residents
August 18, 2007 Undergraduate Residence Halls open at 9am for new students; Dining Halls open at dinner
Graduate Residence Halls open at 9am
August 19, 2007 Undergraduate Residence Halls open at 9am for returning students
August 22, 2007 First Day of Classes
September 1, 2007 Deadline for new students (freshmen, transfers) to cancel for Fall semester under reciprocal agreement.
September 19, 2007 Deadline to change a meal plan for Fall 2007
November 16, 2007 Deadline to submit Reciprocal Release Application for Spring 2008
  Deadline to submit a room change request for Spring 2008
November 17, 2007 Undergraduate Residence Halls Close at 3pm for Fall Break
November 25, 2007 Undergraduate Residence Halls open at noon
November 26, 2007 Meals resume with breakfast
November 29, 2007 Deadline to nullify approval of Reciprocal Release and cancellation of URH contract
December 9, 2007 Deadline to request a roommate not currently living in the halls
December 16, 2007 Undergraduate Residence Halls Close at 3pm for Winter Break
January 13, 2008 Undergraduate Residence Halls open at 9am
January 30, 2008 Deadline to change a meal plan for Spring 2008
March 3, 2008 Deadline to cancel 2008-2009 room reassignment contract without $2,000 settlement charge (returning students only)
March 15, 2008 Undergraduate Residence Halls close at 3pm for Spring Break
March 23, 2008 Undergraduate Residence Halls reopen at noon
May 10, 2008 Undergraduate Residence Halls close at 12pm unless participating in Commencement
