to the Weston Tour. Here we will take you through many of our areas
used almost exclusively by Weston residents.

Exploration Center
Right downstairs and available to
every Weston resident is the Weston Exploration Center. The Exploration
Center, with its classrooms and Resource Area's computers, books,
and desks, provides students with a quiet academic atmosphere
that encourages studying and group work.
Resource
Room
The
Weston Resource Area, the main room in the Exploration Center, is
available for students to use as a study area in addition to their
bedrooms and floor lounges.

The Exploration Center's Resource area is equipped with three
computers, complete with URH
Software. Taking
advantage of an available Weston PC, a resident takes some time out
to catch up on some e-mail.
Exploration
Center Classrooms
A few paces from the Resource Area are several classrooms. During the
day these classrooms are occupied by Weston
Exploration courses.
After these courses, however, Weston
residents are encouraged to use the classrooms as complementary study
space to our Resource Area for studying or completing group work.
Our
small class sizes offer our students a phenomenal opportunity for
significant interaction with both their instructor and their
classmates.

Offices
The Staff offices are right next to
the Resource Area, making appointments and drop-in visits very convenient.
Meet
Greg Hatch, one of our team of Career Center representatives, working in
our Career Center Advising office at Weston. Have questions about graduate or pre-professional
schools? Possible careers? Deciding which major is right for you? Just visit our Career
Center office.
Other resources available in the suite
of offices right in the basement of Weston are LAS Academic Advisors,
Office of Minority Student Affairs Academic Counselors, and an office
for course instructors at Weston. If you have questions about registering,
where to find study groups, questions related to current courses,
simply stop by the Weston Program office.
Main
Floor - Lobby
On the main
floor of Weston is our lobby. The lobby is available to residents
twenty four hours a day as an area to complete coursework or
to just get away, relax and talk. Our lobby also includes a
big-screen TV, playstation, and DVD player.
The lobby serves as the meeting ground for much of Weston's activities.

Main
Floor - Computer Lab
Just as the Exploration Center, complete with classrooms and computers, is unique
to Weston, Weston is also the only hall in the Champaign area residence
halls with its own computer lab located on the first floor.

Beneath Weston
resides our laundry facilities, additional computer lab, library, workout
room and a game room. There are also music practice rooms and full kitchens!

Typical Weston Bedroom
Each room has it's own unique style and
personality. It's up to you and your roommate to create the most
comfortable living and learning environment.
