Welcome to the Weston Exploration Program!

Weston Exploration is a unique opportunity for students to carefully examine their interests and career options utilizing tremendous on-site resources.

As one of the Living Learning Communities in the University's residence halls system, Weston Hall has facilities, resources, and professionals to assist residents in exploration and discovery of academic major and career interests.

Exploration Appointments

Weston residents have the opportunity to participate in any part of a academic major and career search process in our Exploration Appointments. Click here to learn more about the process.

Exploration Courses

Weston Hall offers university credit courses, all of which are intended to aid students in exploring various areas of study and career paths.  Click here to see a list of the current courses.

Academic Advising

Proper selection of classes is a vital part of the discovery of interests and career possibilities. To aid in navigating in academic choices, academic advisors from LAS General Curriculum will hold appointments on site during times more convenient for students.

Career Services

Professional Staff holds appointments and interactive seminars for individual make career and academic guidance, interest in skill assessment, skill building, internship and work opportunities.

E-Discover

The online program guides students through the process of self-examination and provides detailed information to help users make career and educational decisions.

Office of Minority Students Affairs (OMSA)

Graduate counselors hold regular office hours at Weston to provide academic guidance and support for students throughout the Peabody area.

Resource Center

Weston features an extensive collection of career reference material including books that focus on connecting majors with careers, volunteer opportunities, and job search guides.

Professional Staff

Weston has a full time staff including a program coordinator and secretary as well as a resident director and specially trained RA staff.
