The Allen Hall Lounge presents: A Night of Cuban Music with Sandunga

Sandunga is a local band that plays guajira and son cubano, two Cuban styles of music that carry the warmth of the Caribbean beach. Similar to the Buena Vista Social Club, and the Afro Cuban All Stars, Sandunga executes smooth Cuban sounds strongly influenced by West African, Spanish, French, and Haitian styles of music. Sandunga is composed of Sergio Cristancho (bongos and percussion), William Hope (Cuban tres and laúd), Julian Norato (guitar), and Marisa Zapata (flute) in addition to other invited guests.
