The mission of the Division of Campus Recreation is to provide recreation and wellness opportunities which enhance the quality of life of the students and other members of the university community. The Division promotes this mission through diverse programming, service, teaching and research.
The Student Senate serves as the "official voice of the student body" at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The Senate works very hard to represent the views and needs of the student body to the administration. The Senate also lobbies on behalf of students in local, state, and Federal government, and works to promote health, safety, and tolerance on campus.

The Office of International Student Affairs is committed to providing culturally sensitive services of the highest quality.
The mission of La Casa Cultural Latina is to foster a broad appreciation of the significant contribution of Hispanics, Latina/os among University of Illinois students, faculty, and staff and throughout the Central Illinois region, and to initiate cultural programs and activities that will complement the educational experience of Latina/o students at the University and contribute to their retention and graduation.
The Office of Minority Student Affairs is responsible for providing leadership in developing, implementing and coordinating student support services and activities designed to assist minority students' personal development and academic achievement.
The Office of LGBT Concerns serves as a resource for anyone who is interested and committed to learning about LGBT people, issues, and concerns. And for the LGBT community, the Office is a resource that provides support for full inclusion for all within the University -- including those who experience homophobia or who need support in coping with their status as a lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender member of the campus.
APAC is an Asian
organization housed in the Dean of
Students Office. Because of Housing's
commitment to students, we have a strong
tie to this organization. APAC's main
goals have been to encourage social
change throughout campus, educate and
inform the campus community about Asian
Pacific Americans on campus and abroad,
to promote unity within the other
minority populations, and empower the
APA population.
The purpose of the Office of the Dean of Students is to promote the success of undergraduate, graduate and professional students by providing advocacy, programs, counseling, guidance, orientation and support.
The Office of Women's Programs provides programs and services addressing the unique needs of women students. Individual support services and advocacy for students are available to students by appointment and referral. Issues addressed include dating abuse, sexual assault, women returning to college, body image, harassment, and campus safety. Some scholarships are also available through this office.
Greek Affairs staff serve as advisors for the Black Greek, Interfraternity, Panhellenic and United Greek Councils, as well as for individual chapters.
