RA & MA Job Benefits

useful in any career. Examples include: communication,
interpersonal relations, organizational, assertiveness,
programming, critical thinking, and crisis management (for RAs)

communicating, working with, and understanding people different
from you. Paraprofessionals who take EOL
199: Intergroup Dialogues for Residence Hall Student Staff will
gain advanced skill and understanding of how to engage and engage
others in authentic, cross-cultural communication.
- Leadership experience. Taking the lead in building floor
& hall communities, serving as a role model to other students,
and serving as a member of the Department of Residential Life /
University Housing staff team.
- Employment experience. Paraprofessional position to build
work experience, good habits, and networking skills.
- Financial Benefit. Room & board plans & a monthly
stipend from September 15 - May 15. (See Employment
