PAR Dining Renovations

What will be changing?

The PAR dining hall is closed for renovations during the 2007-2008 school year. The new space will be ready to open for fall semester 2008.

New serving stations

The renovated dining hall will offer residents several different serving stations, including a pizza/pasta station, a made-to-order station featuring stir-fried dishes, a smoothie/coffee bar, a deli/soup/salad/dessert station, and a station featuring Latino/Hispanic cuisine.

Remodeled lobby and entryway

The new entryway has been designed to create greater accessibility, and the new lobby will feature more natural light.

Where can I eat during the renovation?

Penn Station

Penn Station, an A La Carte location, will open for Fall 2007 on the first floor of PAR. Choose from a variety of sandwiches, soups, snacks, and espresso drinks. At Penn Station you can purchase items individually with Café Credits or Extra Credits. Add Extra Credits to your i-card here.

FAR dining hall

Located across the street from PAR, the FAR dining hall is a convenient choice for Classic meals. To accommodate more student traffic during the school year, FAR will be serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner in both the Oglesby and Trelease dining rooms. Soul Ingredient specialty restaurant will continue on Thursdays.

Any University Housing dining location

You can use your meal plan at any University Housing dining hall, whether it's closest to your classes, your friends, or your own neighborhood. Read up on all of your dining choices, including A La Carte locations and specialty restaurants.
