New entryway and lobby

As part of the PAR renovation project, we will be reworking the lobby and entryway of PAR to be lighter, brighter, and more accessible. Work will take place throughout the fall and spring of 2007-2008, and the project will be complete by the opening of the fall 2008 semester.

The Entryway

Instead of two sets of doors, the new entryway to PAR will have one, easily identified entry. A raised, curved set of windows will allow natural light to illuminate the space.

The Lobby

Accessible ramps and natural light will make the entryway more welcoming. An elevator on the main level provides easy access to the lower-level dining room.

Lit by natural light, the new stairwell is open and welcoming. The dining lobby provides a natural gathering spot for residents.
