at the University of Illinois. Living on campus for the first time is an
experience you and your child will not forget. The University Housing
network of professionals and student leaders are here to support,
encourage, and challenge your child along the way.

Monday, March 3
Deadline to cancel 2008-2009 Room Reassignment contract without
$2,000 settlement charge (returning students only) Saturday,
March 15
Undergraduate Residence Halls close at 3 p.m. for Spring Break
Sunday, March 23
Undergraduate Residence Halls reopen at noon Saturday, May 10
Undergraduate Residence Halls close at 12 p.m. unless participating
in Commencement Sunday, May 11
Undergraduate Residence Halls close at 7 p.m. for students
participating in Commencement Thursday, May 15
Deadline to cancel 2008-2009 contract without
forfeiting $150 advance payment (new students only)
Deadline to request preference changes for 2008-2009
(roommate, room type, or area preferences)
